Jenny LeBlique
Jenny was born in Gloucestershire but now lives in Northamptonshire. She started painting as therapy to help recover from a serious illness and soon got hooked!
She sometimes paints plein air painting, and says "being in the landscape helps me connect with the environment and hopefully capture the essence of what inspires me". Jenny also enjoys painting holidays abroad and keeps sketchbooks using pen and watercolour to capture her experiences. Jenny also attends workshops where she has great fun and can experiment whilst learning. More recently Jenny has moved onto painting animals, a new challenge that she is gets enormous satisfaction from and attending oil painting school to further my skills there. Jenny says “I paint in watercolour, pen and wash, pastel, oil and occasionally acrylics, choosing the media I think most suited to the subject. I also do commissions”.
