Johanna Cripps
Johanna is a wildlife artist working in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. She has always had a love of nature and is constantly inspired by the birds and animals that live in the local woodlands. As a child all she ever wanted to do was draw, always doodling or sketching. Art has always been Johanna's first love and she is happiest when creating artwork. Her medium of choice is pastels and colour pencils predominantly, but also explores with oil pastels, acrylics and other mixed media. Known for her highly detailed animal and pet portraits, which allow Johanna to capture the unique personalities and characteristics of each animal with stunning accuracy and vibrancy.
Johanna was encouraged in art throughout her early years and was awarded distinctions in BTEC Art and Design. This was followed by a Bachelors Degree in Interior and Spatial Design at the University of East Anglia and later achieved a Diploma in Floral Art.
