Len Lane
In 2008 after working for 52 years in the trade, as a Cabinet Maker, Shopfitter, Contracts & Project Manager, in Museums and Galleries and more, Len retired and started to paint for pleasure. In March 2014, he moved to South Northants, to be closer to his son & family. He started art lessons with Brenda Fisher later that year, and joined Towcester & District Art Society in April 2015.
Len loves ‘pen & wash’ and enjoys all aspects of art and using all types of media. He has not ventured into oils as yet but he aims to do an oil portrait. Len's favourite painter is Paul Cézanne and he enjoys the work of modern artists such as Fiona Peart, Terry Harrison, Charles Evans & Geoff Kersey.
