Towcester & District Art Society - membership
We are a small, friendly group of amateur artists, who meet in Towcester on Thursday evenings.  We also hold demos, workshops and 2 exhibitions a year. For more details take a look at our ‘About us’ page and you can view our members artwork in the ‘Gallery’.  Currently there are no vacancies for new members, but by completing the contact form telling us a little about yourself & a phone number we can give you a call when membership spaces do become available.​

Our Artist of the month for February 2026 is Sheila Ward

Sheila trained at Manchester College of Art, doing a four year course in art and one year in education.  She subsequently spent some time teaching, bringing up a family and working in an office before eventually being able to spend more time on her art work.
Sheila has exhibited in many Buckinghamshire Open Studio events, sometimes as an individual, but often as part of a group, where her subjects have always had a connection with nature.   Sheila loves watercolours but often combines it with acrylic ink, gouache or crayons..​
